Ten years after François Abou Salem

At the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Francois Abou Salem’s passing, two round tables and a mini Theater festival will take place in Jerusalem and Ramallah, organized by the French Institute for the Near East in Jerusalem (Ifpo) and the Palestinian National Theater/El-Hakawati. Artists and researchers will be speaking about Francois Abou Salem’s impact on the contemporary history of the Palestinian theatrical movement from various approaches including his contribution to the field, his influence on current productions and practices as well as the void that he left after his death.
