Le Ministère de la Culture/Direction générale des antiquités (DGA), le Conseil de développement et de Reconstruction (CDR), l’Institut français du Proche-Orient (Ifpo) et le bureau de l’UNESCO à Beyrouth organisent en collaboration avec l’Agence française de développement (AFD), la Mission culturelle auprès de l’Ambassade de France, la Coopération italienne et la municipalité de Tyr, un séminaire international intitulé « Histoire de Tyr au témoignage de l’archéologie ».
Le séminaire se tiendra sous le patronage du ministère de la Culture au Centre d’archéologie sous-marine de Tyr – Direction générale des antiquités les 3 et 4 octobre 2011.

Le but de ce séminaire est de rassembler les résultats des recherches archéologiques passées et présentes concernant les différents sites de Tyr. Les thèmes abordés portent sur les aspects archéologiques, historiques et urbains du site, d’une part, sur les productions et les échanges qui s’y sont développés à Tyr au cours des siècles, d’autre part. Trente experts libanais et étrangers présentent au cours de ces deux journées les résultats de leurs recherches.

Au terme du séminaire se dessineront des perspectives pour le développement culturel de Tyr, pour l’aménagement de son futur musée archéologique, en cours de construction, et pour la mise en œuvre d’un plan de gestion cohérent des ressources historiques et archéologiques de la ville.

La sensibilisation des acteurs locaux à la valeur de leur patrimoine archéologique constitue aussi un des enjeux du séminaire. C’est dans cette perspective qu’une manifestation annexe sera organisée en partenariat avec la Bibliothèque Orientale de l’Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) à la Maison de Vill^e « Beit Mamlouk », située dans la vieille ville, sur le sentier culturel. Il s’agit d’une exposition intitulée « Tyr et les ports phéniciens vus du ciel » qui rassemble des photographies anciennes du Père Poidebard et présente ses méthodes de prise de vues archéologiques et subaquatiques.

بتنظيم من وزارة الثقافة – المديرية العامة للآثار ومجلس الإنماء والإعمار والمعهد الفرنسي في الشرق الأدنى ومكتب اليونسكو الإقليمي في بيروت، وبالتعاون مع الوكالة الفرنسية للتنمية والبعثة الثقافية في سفارة فرنسا ومكتب التعاون الإيطالي وبلدية صور، سيُعقد برعاية وزارة الثقافة مؤتمر دولي بعنوان " تاريخ صور من خلال علم الآثار" وذلك يومي 3 و 4 تشرين الأول 2011 في مبنى المديرية العامة للآثار - مركز الآثار التحتمائية في صور.

يهدف هذا المؤتمر إلى جمع نتائج الأبحاث الأثرية المعدَّة سابقاً وحاضراً فيما خصّ مختلف المواقع في صور. تشمل الموضوعات النواحي الأثرية والتاريخية والمدينية في صور من جهة، والإنتاج والتبادلات وتطوّرها عبر القرون من جهة أخرى. خلال المؤتمر الذي يستمرّ يومين، سيعرض ثلاثون من الخبراء اللبنانيين والأجانب نتائج أبحاثهم.

في نهاية المؤتمر، سترتسم رؤية بشأن التنمية الثقافية في مدينة صور، وتنظيم المتحف الأثري المستقبلي الذي لا يزال قيد الإنشاء وتنفيذ خطة إدارة متماسكة لموارد المدينة التاريخية والأثرية.

تشكِّل أيضاً توعية المحليين على قيمة تراث المدينة الأثري واحدة من أهم قضايا المؤتمر. من هذا المنطلق، سيواكب المؤتمر نشاط جانبي في "بيت المدينة" (بيت المملوك) في المدينة القديمة وقد أُعدَّت له الأطراف المنظِّمة بالتعاون مع المكتبة الشرقية في جامعة القديس يوسف. إنه عبارة عن معرض بعنوان "صور والمرافئ الفينيقية-مشاهد جوية" يجمع صوراً قديمة كان قد إلتقطها الأب بوادوبار ومنهجيات التصوير الجوي الأثري في حينه.

The Ministry of Culture, the Council of Development and Reconstruction, the French Institute of Middle East and the UNESCO Beirut Office are organizing, in collaboration with the French Development Agency, the Cultural Mission at the French Embassy and the Italian Cooperation at the municipality of Tyre, an international seminar entitled “History of Tyre as witness of archeology”.

The seminar will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture at the “Underwater archeology centre” of Tyre – General Department of Antiquities, on 3rd and 4th of October.

This seminar aims at collecting the results of the past and present archeological excavations at various sites in Tyre. The topics discussed will cover the archeological, historical and urban aspects of Tyre as well as the productions and the exchanges which developed along the centuries. During the two-day seminar, thirty experts from Lebanon and other countries will present the results of their research works.

The results of this seminar are expected to create an opportunity for the cultural development of the city of Tyre, to improve the management of the future archeological museum and to be the basis of the implementation of a coherent management plan for the historical and archeological resources of the city.

Among the goals of the seminar is the sensitization of local actors on the value of the archeological heritage of the city. On this occasion, seminar participants and the Oriental Library of St Joseph University will organize a side event at the Municipal centre located in the old city of “Beit Mamlouk”. The event will display an exhibition, “Tyre and the Phoenician ports as seen from the sky”, in which old photos of Pere Poidebard and the methods of archeological aerial photography will be shown.
